National Member

  • The applicant must hold a valid Certificate of Qualification for the Trade of Cook (a TQ5 if trained with the Canadian Armed Forces 1985) or similar certification from any province where applicable, or an equivalent Certificate from any member country of W.A.C.S. or at least 8 years industry experience. You must submit a copy of your certificate with the application.
  • You will be required to have been in actual service in the Trade of Cooking or food related industry,  or an Instructor at an accredited Foodservices or Hospitality Institution.  
  • New Chef member pays with initiation: $262.25
  • Renewing Chef member pays: $200.75
  • Benefits:

    • Participate in tours, seminars, new product sampling and demonstrations

    • Prospect to participate in volunteer events with peers
    • Share announcements at meetings and distribute through meeting minutes

    • Mentor and be mentored by culinary experts
    • Receive a distinctive CACC lapel pin
    • Prospect to achieve the nationally recognized Chef de Cuisine Certification (CCC)
    • Automatically become a member of both the national Canadian Culinary Federation (CCFCC) and the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) and have access to national and international trade trends and developments
    • Receive a CCFCC certificate, CCFCC national membership medallion
    • Receive a national roster of members CD, updated yearly 
    • Prospect to compete in annual CCFCC provincial and national competitions 
    • Opportunities to observe world-renowned chefs and speakers at the annual regional and national conventions
    • Opportunity for involvement in culinary college and apprenticeship training advisory committees 

National Junior Member

  • Open to any person actively engaged in the preparation of food in a commercial establishment or is enrolled in a recognized course of culinary studies at a college, school or institute. Is actively involved in work /study in the trade of cooking at the time of the application.
  • New Junior Chef member pays with initiation: $66.75
  • Renewing Junior member pays: $41.50
  • Benefits:

    • Participation in all of the social and educational events / workshops /seminars highlighted above

Member at Large

  • Open to individuals who meet the above criteria and live in excess of 250 km from a CCF Branch. Consult the Branches page for details of a Branch nearest you.
  • Cost: This particular membership category is $105.00 CDN per annum and a onetime only initiation fee of $30.00 plus GST/HST, payable to the CCFCC National Office. If residing outside Canada, there is no GST applied. No local Branch dues are to be paid , but you will be required to choose a home  branch. The  home branch will maintain  reasonable levels of communication with you until you decide to reside within the required distance to a branch in Canada.

Associate Member

  • CCFCC Calgary branch encourages corporate memberships from private sector and provincial government organizations, and from individuals that are interested to enhance standards of the foodservice and hospitality industry. Access to professional chefs, food establishment trades, owners and managers allows for increased marketing opportunities and dedicated support of current and future clients. 
  • Local Branch Fee…$105.00 No GST
  • Local Branch Initiation Fee…$30.00 No GST
  • Benefits:
    • Opportunity to advertise on the CCFCC Calgary website
    • Display company on Associate Member CCFCC Calgary Website list, link to your company for a nominal fee
    • Participate in relevant seminars / workshops 
    • Prospect to network and socialize with industry professionals,
    • colleagues, suppliers and partners in the Calgary area
    • Attend informative monthly meetings
    •  Participate, feature and demonstrate new products at workshops
    • and dinner meetings
    •  Receive a CCFCC Calgary Associate membership certificate
    •  Access to newsletters,  and to offers from other members
    • Attend branch social functions
    •  Opportunities to raise company profile by participating in and/or
